Andrea Brito-Bokosky is a retired registered nurse and childbirth educator. She was born and raised in Point Loma, and started her community service with her mom who signed her up as a Candy Striper at Mercy Hospital. Her mother, Mary Brito, was very involved with community service and, by example, Andrea has followed in her footsteps.
Andrea has been heavily involved with many community service organizations over the years and feels that she still has a lot more to offer. Since her first Rotary Club meeting, she has been inspired by the passion and diversity of the members. Volunteerism has been a big part her life and she looks forward to getting involved. She is particularly interested in the Senior Services Committee as she has taken care of many elderly family members and friends over the decades. This is an area very close to her heart.
