Monte Jones

Monte Jones serves as President and CEO of the Logan Heights Community Development Corporation, a position he has held since 2006. He has over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership. His focus includes identifying and nurturing community-based leadership, enhancing health and educational outcomes for communities of color, and fostering innovative partnerships between the private and public sectors. Monte has been instrumental in reshaping perceptions surrounding black-led organizations. He was a Rotarian of the Southeast Rotary Club in years past, and he has a deep passion for helping people become more resilient.

Prior to joining Logan Heights CDC, Monte proudly served for twenty years in the United States Navy, accumulating a wealth of leadership experience. He comes from a military family with his father being a Vietnam Veteran, and his wife a retired Navy Captain.

He and his wife Kelly have three children, and he loves to play golf and coach baseball.
