Josh Callery-Coyne
Joshua (Josh) Callery-Coyne is the Vice President of Philanthropy for Downtown San Diego Partnership Foundation, which focuses on reducing homelessness and improving the quality of life for our community. The Downtown San Diego Partnership Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the community and fostering growth in Downtown San Diego through initiatives that strengthen both economic and social well-being. He believes there has never been a more crucial time to cultivate stronger relationships in the community to propel their work to the next level.
He has spent his career dedicated to public service in nonprofit leadership, working at the intersection of government, nonprofits and higher education, building partnerships and initiating policies that create real change. Before taking on his current role, he worked for UCSD, and at City Hall.
Josh grew up in Syracuse, NY. He received his B.A. from Niagara University, and his M.S in Higher education from Canisius College. He is draw to Rotary because of the spirit of “Service Above Self” and is looking forward to collaborating. In his free time, Josh enjoys walking his rescue dog Lucy with his husband John.
