Jonathan is the Executive Director of Rise Up Industries, an organization whose mission is to minimize gang involvement by providing integrated gang prevention, intervention, and and post-detention reentry programs for those who are coming out of incarceration. Their 18-month Reentry Program is in its seventh year of operation, providing services including employment, job-training, case management, tattoo removal, counseling, mentoring, education assistance, financial literacy, life skills training, work ethic development and substance abuse programs.

Prior to working at Rise Up, Jonathan was a Social Entrepreneur for Global Entrepreneurs in India, and a County Director for Global Sports Partners where he was recognized as employee of the year twice after procuring a grant from the Department of State.  He has his BA in Global Studies from Azusa Pacific University, and his MA in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Jonathan and his wife Jennifer have two kids, Junia and Jaya.
