Kevin Leap was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and moved to San Diego when he was 18. He graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Publishing and Newspaper Management Program. He has been the Publisher of San Diego Business Journal since 2023, and cohosts the The Community of Business; a podcast where local industry leaders, CEOs and business figures are interviewed weekly.

Prior to SDBJ, Kevin was Publisher of San Diego Magazine, Associate Publisher of North County Times, Founder of the San Diego International Film Festival, and he also spent 13 years running the San Diego Auto Show.

Kevin lives in Kensington with his dog, and he is thrilled to rejoin San Diego Rotary Club 33.
