Nancy Rohland-Heinrich

Nancy Rohland-Heinrich graduated from St. Cloud State University with a BA in Sociology and Social Work, from National University with a Masters in Business, and both UCSD and California State University San Marcos with a Doctor of Education Leadership. She has worked for National University System for 45 years.

In Nancy’s current role as EVP of Community Engagement at National Universtiy, she actively works with many regional boards, committees, advisory groups, as a volunteer, and in  other capacities, to support our community. She is intimately familiar with the region through her professional role and community service. She oversees National University’s external relations work in key business, non-profit and civic relationships. She founded, and is host of the NU Speaker Series, which has produced more than 50 episodes. she has been recognized in SD Business Journal – 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award as a Literacy Champion. Among her many other civic and charitable activies, she is currently Board Chair for LEAD San Diego, Management Council, SD Regional Chamber, Board President of Sports San Diego, and Board Member of YMCA San Diego County.

Nancy and her husband Jeff have three children: Brianna, Bill and Daniel.
