Elizabeth Berg

Elizabeth Berg has a twenty-five year career in strategic planning, development, communication and collaboration to support the success of nonprofits in the San Diego community. She serves as the Executive Director of Healing Wave Aquatics, and organization she grew from grass roots in 2017, to a recognized non-profit with an annual budget of $650K. This organization addresses the critical mental health challenges of PTSD, suicide ideation and complex trauma through aquatic therapy.

Elizabeth was born and raised here in San Diego. She left for college and graduate school, but came back to start a career and a family. She has served as Director of Development for Serving Seniors, San Diego Habitat for Humanity, Walden Family Services and was the Marketing and Grants Manager at the San Diego Museum of Us. She volunteers for many organizations across the county including as a board member for Association of Fundraising Professionals and Helix Charter School.

She and her husband Robert have two children, and they all enjoy both the beaches and mountains equally.
