Please join the Grotarians and fellow Rotarians for a lovely evening at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) is the region’s foremost forum devoted to the exploration and presentation of the art of our time, presenting works across all media created since 1950. MCASD provides an unprecedented variety of exhibition spaces and experiences for the community, showcasing an internationally recognized collection and a dynamic schedule of exhibitions and public programs. You can also take in the fabulous ocean view from the Edwards Garden Gallery.
The tours will focus on the new exhibit: ED RUSCHA THEN & NOW: PAINTINGS FROM THE 1960S AND 2000S
Ed Rusha is an innovator of West-Coast Pop and Conceptual Art. His work draws upon popular media, commercial culture, and the landscape of Los Angeles. The show will highlight select works from the sixties alongside more recent canvases.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages will be served.
