San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit

David Nisleit became the City of San Diego’s 35^th Chief of Police in March 2018.  A San Diego native, he is 30 year veteran of the San Diego Police Department, the eighth largest police department in the nation.  Chief Nisleit will share his vision for SDPD  taking on 21^st century law enforcement challenges, engaging as community partners and recruiting the next generation of police officers.
