The mission of the Holiday Bowl is to generate tourism, exposure, economic benefit and civic pride for San Diego by presenting the nation’s most exciting bowl game and festival of events. In 40 years, the non-profit effort has generated $800 million in economic benefit for San Diego and annually fills hotels during the slowest tourism period. Mark will talk about why the event is such a success for San Diego and speak of the challenges ahead.
