Robert Gleason – Federal Reserve

Robert Gleason is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Evans Hotels, overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Lodge at Torrey Pines as well as the Bahia Resort Hotel and Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa. Relevant to his talk today, he serves as Chair of the Los Angeles Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Mr. Gleason will talk about the structure of the Federal Reserve System, the different roles it plays in our financial system and national economy, and how it collects grass roots information from its Boards of Directors and Advisory Council members to help formulate economic and monetary policy.
