Emilio Perez is the founder of two businesses. San Diego Youth Philanthropy Council is a non profit organization whose mission involves kids helping kids. This organization, which he cofounded when he was a freshman in high school, has garnered $3 million in revenue through fundraising for several different projects including shoe drives, sponsoring San Ysidro Health’s Anniversary Gala, and helping build a school in Masaai Mara, Kenya. He is also chief of sales for CheckRx, a Medicare plan comparison tool that streamlines the process of enrolling those eligible for Medicare into their desired health plan.

Emilio was born, and spent part of his childhood, in Mexico before his family moved to San Diego fulltime. He is currently a student at the University of San Diego in his third year.
