SDFD Fire Chief Robert Logan

Fire Chief Robert Logan, recently appointed as the 19th Fire Chief of the San Diego Fire Department, is the third African American to hold this position in the department’s 134-year history. A native of San Diego, Chief Logan grew up in District 4 near Fire Station 12, which inspired him to become a firefighter. He is a member of the Southeast Rotary Club and a Lifetime Silver member of the NAACP.
