Building Opportunities for Human Trafficking Survivors

Estimates from the International Labor Organization count 21 million victims of human trafficking worldwide. San Diego is on the front line of this battle, and one woman has taken it upon herself to do more for those who climbed their way out of it. Hear from attorney Jamie Quient, founder of Free to Thrive, about the nonprofit’s mission to empower survivors of human trafficking to thrive and be free from exploitation by providing them with legal services and connections to other supportive services.
