Grotarian Event – Walking Tour of Balboa Park

Please join the Grotarians for an evening in Balboa Park.

Maximum guests allowed – 25

Balboa Park Revealed: a one-hour walking tour led by Tomas Herrera-Mishler, President and CEO of the Balboa Park Conservancy.  Tomas will bring everyone up-to-date on the mission and work of the Balboa Park Conservancy.  While we can all celebrate our wonderful treasure of Balboa Park, we may not realize many of the issues with which the park is faced and how the Conservancy, in partnership with the city, is working to ensure the long-term sustainability of Balboa Park.

Following the tour, we’ll have a small meal with beverages catered by Panama 66, a wonderful café adjoining the San Diego Museum of Art.  Please join us for an informative tour and great evening in Balboa Park.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
$25 per person
We will meet at 5:30 at Tomas’s office, which is upstairs in the House of Hospitality on the northeast side of the courtyard.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Parking is available behind the Organ Pavilion.
