International Women’s Day: Choose to Challenge
03 4, 2021 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Monday, March 8 is International Women’s Day. The day was first recognized in 1911. And this year’s campaign theme is: Choose to Challenge. How will you help forge a gender equal world?
Join us as we celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness against bias and discuss action for equality with two guest speakers: Dr. Hei-ock (pronounced Hay-o) Kim, Founder and Executive Director of The Kim Center, where she is a subject matter expert on workplace gender equity; and Dr. Lorri Sulpizio, Executive Director of the Conscious Leadership Academy, and the founder of the Center for Women’s Leadership at USD, focusing on gender dynamics. Our very own Jenni Prisk will serve as Chair of the Day and moderate the program.
