DESCRIPTION:Fire Chief Robert Logan\, recently appointed as the 19th Fire Chief of the San Diego Fire Department\, is the third African American to hold this position in the department’s 134-year history. A native of San Diego\, Chief Logan grew up in District 4 near Fire Station 12\, which inspired him to become a firefighter. He is a member of the Southeast Rotary Club and a Lifetime Silver member of the NAACP.
