We’ll meet Phillip Grove, the video documentarian that chronicled Cloud Walkers, a group of amputees who put themselves to the ultimate test; reaching the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania Africa.  Hear their stories of courage and commitment, including the year-long training to scale the highest free standing mountain in the world at 19,341 feet. 

Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this important and historic event. We'll salute to the first five women who joined our club and hear from Dr. Sylvia Whitlock, Past Governor of Rotary District 5300 and the first woman to ever hold the position of Rotary Club President in the U.S.

Our annual salute to the men and women in uniform is always a crowd pleaser. Be sure to come early and engage with the more than 50 uniformed folks in attendance. We’ll also hear from guest speaker Lane Nishikawa, writer, director, and film producer about Japanese-American WWII veterans.

Come early for the champagne and loosen up those purse strings to bid one some great Holiday gift items at San Diego Rotary's only fundraising event for the entire year.
