From discovery of our area before Jamestown was discovered\, to how we could have been called “San Miguel”\, to the first passenger air service in the United States\, the quirky start to the San Diego Zoo and the changing face of the U.S. Mexico Border–the collections of the San Diego History Center will illustrate how these firsts came to be. DESCRIPTION:They are returning to Club 33 for an encore performance! \nEvery summer\, this unique three week orchestral program brings together gifted conservatory musicians from around the world to play with exceptional SDYS musicians under the leadership of SDYS Music Director Jeff Edmons for an intensive and top quality orchestral and chamber music experience. \nSDYS’s International Youth Symphony\, in partnership with Rotary International District 5340\, is presenting its 13th season this summer.  Their program at the July 30 concert at California Center for the Arts in Escondido will include selections from Mozart’s Impresario Overture\, Mozart’s Symphony No. 31 in D Major\, as well as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major. \nJoin us as these amazing and talented musicians perform a preview of their concert.
